The Falls is a newer condo in the Downtown Core known for its many amenities including outdoor rooftop pool (seasonal), fireplace, hot tub and gym. With a 100 walking score you are just blocks from the iconic Fairmont Empress Hotel, Inner Harbour, BC Museum and Imax plus numerous coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and more. Safe and VERY friendly neighbourhood. Open concept with NEW quality furnishings.

The unit boasts a large spa like bathroom with separate bathtub and shower and dual vanity. The private patio has a nice area to enjoy your morning coffee, overlooking a serene pond and greenery area. In-suite laundry, one secured underground parking stall, high-end appliance package inc gas range, air conditioning, cable and internet. TV (in living room) also has Netflix for guests to use and the TV is also a PVR allowing tv shows and movies to be recorded. Bedroom TV also has a DVD player and DVDs for guests to enjoy.

PLEASE NOTE that all bed linens including the duvet cover are PROFESSIONALLY LAUNDERED after each stay. So enjoy the white linens and no need to start the laundry on checkout, as we will take all of it to the dry cleaners after. **  can accommodate up to 3 ppl, as the den has a single bed. The den has a sliding door and windows overlooking the greenery/pond area described above. The den does not have a closet or much space around the bed.

Please note an additional charge per night/person over 2 people of $25/night. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans and all cooking supplies. Cable and WiFi are also included.

Laura’s place is perfect and she was extremely accommodating and communicative. Check in and check out were easy and the apartment itself had everything we could have needed, and great quality. Very close to the conference centre for our work event, perfect walk to Beacon Hill Park with our little one, and lots of great restaurants around. Loved that Laura’s place had a balcony and greenery around it, made it feel homey.

The stay at the Fall’s view is exactly as described and as other guests have reviewed- outstanding!! The suite has all modern amenities. Communication between the host was easy and efficient. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated and settled. They met us at the suite to check us in at 12:30am – above and beyond! The location is right in downtown but the suite is quiet. Would gladly stay at Laura’s condo again.

Laura’s place is in a fantastic location, walking distance to lots of restaurants and cafes and to the inner harbour. The space was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The small den worked great as a bedroom for our 4 year old, just keep in mind that the blinds don’t block a lot of light so your kiddo may be up extra early. The decor was pleasant and the aircon was nice too! My son loved access to the pool as well. Overall we loved it and would stay again.

Great space, perfect location! Laura was a great host, in on it when it comes to communication. She was a pleasure to rent from and very nice to us through the whole process. The location is perfect for Victoria as it is the best when walking around downtown to shops and restaurants. The space was also quiet and never hear a peep the whole time. The second bedroom / den was a little small HOWEVER….we were two guys on a golf trip and this space worked flawlessly for us so I would recommend to anyone anytime.

Owner’s Response:Thanks for your review. Sorry you felt there was some confusion on entering and exiting the building. As you know, I personally meet every single guest on checkin and make sure the guest is comfortable with the fob system and answer any questions they have. At that time I also discuss the checkout procedure. Throughout a guests stay I am always just a call or text away and always quick to respond. The day before checkout I also touch base again on the process and steps to follow the next day and again answer any questions or concerns you might have. At that point no concerns were expressed, so I thought the process was understood. On the day of checkout I was in a meeting so unfortunately it took my 60 minutes to respond to your questions on checkout. Again very sorry for the confusion.

This is a beautiful condo in a perfect location! Richard (Laura’s dad) met us in front and showed us to our underground secured parking stall, and then showed us around the condo. The property was immaculate with many extras-coffee, shampoo etc, and plenty of extra towels. We made use of the small gym and pool. It was a quick walk down to the harbour where Laura had recommended a fun restaurant with a great patio (try Local!). It was very convenient to have Brown’s Social Hall below as well. All around we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back! Thanks Laura!

If you are a couple or there are three people and the criteria is for one of the best apartments to stay in while visiting Victoria and surrounds then this one can’t be beaten. With secure underground parking included plus a location that is central to the harbour area there are many attractions and places to eat conveniently within walking distance, so you can forget about even using the car if you want to. Our host, Laura, was very helpful and her advice about where to go and what to do was spot on. We had a great time, it felt like a true home away from home, and we’d highly recommend this to anyone. When you read some of the reviews just ignore the nitpickers, they’d probably never be satisfied even if it was Buckingham Palace.

I have traveled to Victoria many times but this was my first time staying here but probably won’t be my last! First Laura was so accommodating to my last minute reservation request after my other reservation fell through. I had stayed at another rental at The Falls and knew the building and location would be perfect. The Falls is close to the Inner Harbour and restaurants and entertainment. I only used my car to drive to hikes I had planned. The condo itself is extremely well appointed with plenty of coffee and tea and great cookware (we cooked multiple times). Check out instructions are also easy…no starting laundry or some requirements I’ve had at other rentals. They really do make it a breeze. Bed is extremely comfortable and furniture is great. I was also delayed getting to my check in because of the ferry and I didn’t have any issues at all. I highly recommend this rental!

First time we stayed here at The Falls. The location is the best in the area. This unit has one bed and one bath but have a little area were an additional bed can be placed. We use it for our son and worked perfect. Laura was great receiving us very late at night since our flight arrival was very late. The parking space of this unit is very close to the access to the elevator. The location allows you to walk to all the restaurants in the DT area. Empress hotel is just around the corner. We will stay here again.

The condo is really great and had everything we needed. The building is very quiet and the comfortable beds made for a great sleep. There are a lot of amenities around the condo as well; we didn’t spend a dime on taxi’s since everything was easily in walking distance.

Clean, Quiet and Great Location (Highly Recommend)

We stayed at Laura’s condo on the September long weekend. Laura was very responsive to our texts and dependable for the check-in meet. The unit is stocked with a healthy supply of coffee, tea and sugar. Laura also took the time to send us a very detailed list of recommended restaurants in the neighbourhood.

The unit was very clean and tastefully decorated. Not a lot of nick-knacks just a few interesting décor pieces thoughtfully placed around the unit which left lots of free space for our stuff. All of the furniture was comfortable and functional and nothing in the unit looked worn or was broken. Wifi was extremely strong and fast.

This unit is inward facing rather than street facing which makes a huge difference in sound but lacks any kind of view from the living room and bedroom. Although, if weather permits the balcony has a cute table and chairs that do overlook the building’s small Koi pond. We have stayed in street facing units in this building before and the street noise is very loud and starts about 6:30 – 7am. We didn’t feel we were missing anything in the lack of a view since we were out and about all day and dining out most evenings.

The unit has a very small den with just enough room for its small, single bed and small side-table. We did not use this room and because of this additional room we found the unit just a touch too big for us, but we knew this going in. Perfect space for a couple with a child.

This unit is very close to the building’s secure pool and hot tub.

Location can’t be beat. The unit comes with a parking stall in a secured parkade but we found it easier to just walk to our destinations (Inner Harbour, museum, Craigdarroch castle, Fan Tan Alley) and lots of choices for dining.

The only thing that crossed my mind during our stay was recycling. The building has a great recycling program but there is nothing in the unit to help you sort your composting, recycling, and garbage so unfortunately everything went in the trash. Some small recycling bins that match the building’s sorting bins (bottles, paper/cardboard,food waste) would be nice in the unit.

We would stay here again and recommend the unit to others.
